THE ORIGINS

Lallier Millésimé 2014 is exclusively made from the most well-balanced wines of that year, with grapes sourced from Lallier’s greatest terroirs and grown under exceptional ripening conditions. This year was a comparatively warm year, especially in the spring and during the ripening period. After a capricious summer, the harvest took place in ideal climatic conditions – featuring sunny warm days and cool, dry nights. Thanks to a good quantity of grapes, the team could conduct a qualitative sorting, bringing only the finest grapes to the presses. Lallier Millésimé offers an exclusive experience of Champagne terroir individuality, captured differently from year to year. Lallier combines in its Millésimé, a total of six magnificent Grands Crus Champagnes, from the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize and Oger), Montagne de Reims (Ambonnay and Verzenay) and Aÿ (Grand Cru of the Marne Valley).The finest grapes from the greatest terroirs to showcase the best the vines have to offer.

THE BLEND

Lallier Millésimé 2014 is an extraordinary wine made up exclusively of the most well-balanced wines from the 2014 harvest, benefitting from remarkable ripening conditions. Made with 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir and aged on the lees for minimum 7 years, it’s an exceptional reflection of patience and intuition. The richness of the 2014 vintage gives Lallier its legendary fruitiness, delicate finesse, great depth and aromatic persistence.

MILLÉSIMÉ 2012GRAND CRU

2012 was a challenging year for the Champagne region. The vine growing season was stuck with frost & mildew; however, the grapes that survived these climatic incidents reached a beautiful maturity during the harvest. Lallier rose to the challenge, while the vintage was small in volume, it made for exceptional quality and a highly sought-after offering.

THE ORIGINS

Lallier Millésimé 2012 is made of 100% 2012 grapes, sourced from the greatest terroirs. It is exclusively made up of the most well-balanced wines from the very same harvest which benefited from exceptional ripening conditions. Exceptional vintages are carefully chosen by the Cellar Master and showcase the finest quality.

THE BLEND

A blend of 8 Grands crus: Verzenay, Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly & Oger. Coming from two main regions: Côte des Blancs, and Montagne de Reims.

THE EXPERIENCE

After a long period of maturation in our cellars, the color becomes golden, intense with slight amber tones. The effervescence is delicate and subtle. The aromas are dominated by dried fruits, roasted almonds and gingerbread. Notes of ripe fruits are a testament to the beautiful maturity of the 2012 harvest. In the mouth, the attack is powerful, structured and dense. The richness of the 2012 wines gives this wine great depth. The finish is very long with a creamy texture enhanced by a delicate freshness. Lallier Millésimé is a sophisticated pairing for gourmet experiences, highlighting the delicacy of premium fine dishes.

THE 2012 HARVEST

It was a tough wine growing season. Waves of frost affected the harvest potential, but it was the mildew that greatly reduced the yield. Fortunately, the grapes ripened in excellent conditions, providing an exceptional quality that allowed us to produce an exceptional vintage, with great ageing capacity.
